Grace

For by grace you have been saved through faith. —Ephesians 2:8a

One of the most comforting truths in the Bible is that believers are saved by grace. Grace is God's undeserved favor upon those who sinned against him. Not only are we saved by grace, but the Apostle Paul also reminds us that God's grace is all we need regardless of our circumstances.

Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. —2 Corinthians 12:8-9
