The Joy of Giving

We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. —2 Corinthians 8:1-2

Most of us know that money cannot buy happiness. In today’s text, the Apostle Paul shows us how the churches in Macedonia experienced an abundance of joy through their generosity. They were able to give despite their lack of wealth. They understood the joy of giving!

Have you experienced the joy of giving? Does your giving measure up to the example set by the Macedonian churches? The Well Church, let us be a giving church by trusting that God will supply all our needs.
