Hello, The Well Church!
It was great to see many of you at our (re)Launch worship service. Even though it was difficult to breathe through the mask at times, it was a sweet hour of worship.
In today's text, John announces Jesus Christ's mission statement. One commentator states, "in one sentence we have the essence of the Christian message." John answers the question, "Why did Jesus have to come?"
Jesus Christ came to be the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins once for all. The Apostle Peter explains,
For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;" - 1 Peter 3:18 (NASB)
Dear church, as we settle into our new location, let us make sure we lead people to Christ with conviction that only comes from our faith in Him. Let us look to Christ, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world
