God is with you

Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. - Psalm 19:2

In today's verse, the psalmist reminds us that the heavens and the sky continuously reveal the glory of God day and night. The sun, the moon, and the stars, by their existence, testify God's glory. The speech continuously pours out, meaning that it never ceases.

As believers, there are times when we think that God is distant, whether it is from being spiritually dry or dealing with unconfessed sins in our lives. Dear brothers and sisters, when you feel this way, I want to encourage you to pause and look up into the sky, day or night. The sky above you is declaring God's glory. He is with you!

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. - Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)
