Wells of Salvation

“Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. - Isaiah 12:2-3

Life is a journey; God often interrupts our lives, and we must make detours. In the past two years, we dealt with COVID-19, a location change, financial challenges, members not returning, members leaving and welcoming newcomers. And today, we close out our chapter at River Edge as we move to Highland Lakes, NJ.

Dear Church, as we persevere and follow God on our journey, it is vital that we draw water from the wells of salvation with joy. How do we do this? We must pause as a community, you in verse 3 is plural, and draw near to God in worship and receive His love, grace, mercy, and power.

Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. - Hebrews 12:28-29

As we worship today, let us drink with joy from the well of salvation at River Edge.

- Pastor Jay
