One in Christ
And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. - John 10:16
Jesus unites His people. In a world with so much division, Jesus speaks about being one shepherd over one flock from different folds. Yet, Martin Luther King and others have called the Sunday worship hour the most segregated one in America. The Apostle Paul states that the gospel is for all people.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. - Romans 1:16
Dear Church, believers are one in Christ, whether at home, church, or community. No matter what our differences may be, our good shepherd unites us. When you disagree with a brother or sister in Christ, remember that Christ died for all and joined us in His name.
