Our Healer

Jesus said to him, "Get up, take up your bed, and walk." And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. - John 5:8-9a

Jesus has the mighty power to heal. With a simple command to get up, the man who had a disability for thirty-eight years was healed at once. There were no side effects from being disabled for so long, and he didn't need any physical therapy. He was completely healed, as evidenced by his ability to take up his bed and walk.

Our God is Almighty! He is mighty to heal and mighty to save.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. - Psalm 147:3

How can God heal you spiritually, emotionally, or physically today? Let us approach God in awe and wonder today as we lift our prayers to him.

Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. - Hebrews 12:28–29
