Implanted Word

Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. —James 1:21

The Word of God must take root in God’s people. We do this by carefully meditating on God’s Word day and night (Psalm 1:2). James is also reminding his readers that through the “implanted word,” we are progressively sanctified.

The Well Church, what Word have you hidden in your heart? Ponder and meditate on them today. May God bless you today as you meditate on His Word.
