Obedience

But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” —Luke 11:28

Jesus reminds us that we are to do more than hear his words. He calls his followers to keep the word of God. Samuel sternly spoke to Saul in First Samuel 15, "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…" True faith in Jesus Christ is more than merely hearing and studying God's Word. Action and life-change must follow.

The Well Church, let us pray that we would be a living and active church that demonstrates God's love to those around us. Let us obey His word.
