The Price of Peace

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. —Colossians 1:19–20

We are less than two weeks away from Christmas. As the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ came to earth to provide a way for people to have peace with God. As we celebrate his birth, we must remember that his death brought peace. The price of everlasting peace was his blood spilled for us on the cross.
