Joy in the Storm

And the angel said to them,
“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. —Luke 2:10-11

Happy Wednesday!

The NorthEast is embracing the coming winter storm. For many of us, the storm is not good news. Even during the pandemic, it interrupts our lives — making sure there are enough food and supplies, getting the snowblower ready, and, of course, the power generator. In today’s text, an angel appeared to shepherds at night, bringing good news of great joy for all the people. This good news of great joy is for us as well.

The Well Church, as we get ready for the storm, let us remember the good news of great joy. May His joy be your strength.

Merry Christmas!
