God's Love
“From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. —Mark 13:28-29
Jesus uses a fig tree as an illustration to let his disciples know that as the fig tree’s branches put forth leaves indicates summer will soon follow when they see the events prophesied in Mark 13 take place, they will know that Christ will return soon.
The Well Church, let us reaffirm our love and faith for Jesus today. No one and nothing else is worthy of our adoration.
His love never fails!
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Romans 8:38-29 (NIV)
