Finding Truth

Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. —Mark 13:30-31

In today’s text, Jesus claims that his words will never change. We are living in an ever-changing world that will pass away. His word provides the only stability in our unpredictable world. We need to place our faith and trust in absolute truth — Jesus Christ. As the author of Hebrews writes,

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” —Hebrews 13:8

The Well Church, let us not neglect the Bible and God’s promises for us. Let us place our confidence in Jesus’ words that bring hope, peace, joy, and love.
