Prince of Peace

For to us a child is born,

to us a son is given;

and the government shall be upon his shoulder,

and his name shall be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

For the second week of Advent, let us focus on the word PEACE. For those of you who could not make yesterday’s bible study, here is a short video from the Bible Project that gives us a good definition of PEACE.

In Isaiah's prophecy, we see God's gift to us — Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Jesus Christ is our Prince of Peace whose reign would bring peace to no end.

The Well Church, let us look to Christ and find real and lasting peace.
