God's Love (2-minute Devotional)

When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.

Happy Monday!

This verse is one of the most endearing passages in Hosea. In addition to portraying God as a husband, Hosea uses the metaphor of a father. Another example of this metaphor is the parable of the prodigal son in Luke 15. The Well Church, remember that God loves you! Let us come to the Father as we begin our work week.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
