Confession and Repentance

Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity. —Hosea 14:1

Happy Monday!

Hosea begins chapter 14 by urging his people to return to God. Sin causes us to stumble and fall. When we have fallen, the only way we can get up is through God’s help. Returning to God begins with confession and repentance.

The Well Church, let us begin our work week by returning to God through confession and repentance. Is the Holy Spirit convicting you today? Do not ignore it! Let us remember, “If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness” (1 John 1:8-9, NLT).
