Maturity

for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. —James 1:3

In today’s text, James speaks about how trials produce spiritual toughness. We grow in spiritual maturity as we overcome trials. The Apostle Paul attests to this in Romans 5:3, when he says, “but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance.”

The Well Church, when trials come, let us reaffirm our faith by the truth presented to us today. Let us remember that God is refining our faith as a community.
