Does God hear me?
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. —James 1:6
When we ask for wisdom, James instructs us to pray “in faith, with no doubting.” We must have faith that God hears our prayers. When we pray, we must be willing to wait (Habakkuk 2:1-3). We must focus on God and obey Him while we wait.
The Well Church, James’ encouragement is for us to come before God and ask without doubting.
He hears you!
O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You search out my path and my lying down
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Even before a word is on my tongue,
behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
—Psalm 139:1–4
