Country club church

Let the lowly brother boast in his exaltation, and the rich in his humiliation, because like a flower of the grass he will pass away. —James 1:9-10

Who are the poor among you? Who are desperate for God’s love? James reminds us to help the lowly with humility. Bonhoeffer said, “The Church is the Church only when it exists for others.” Churches cannot merely be country clubs that exist to keep their members happy."

The Well Church, let’s make sure that we are not a country club church. What can you do to help the church be the church that exists for others? Let’s glorify God as we serve others.
