Reflection
As 2021 comes to an end, I want to thank you, The Well Church, for your faithfulness during such an uncertain and tumultuous year. COVID-19 has undoubtedly added a lot of undue stress to many of us at home, work, and church.
Let us take time to reflect with God on the year. As we reflect on our challenges, chaos, and disappointments of 2021, let us remember James' words,
"Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing." - James 1:2-4 (NLT)
The Well Church, let us remember that trials and troubles that challenge our faith are designed to produce spiritual maturity. Let us consider it all joy in the Lord, who is in control of all things. Let us choose to entrust our burdens to God and his care.
"Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall." - Psalm 55:22 (NLT)
Happy New Year!
