Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord" —and that he had said these things to her. —John 20:18

After Mary encounters Jesus, she shared the good news that He has risen from the dead with the disciples. It is interesting to note that Mary is the first to see Jesus and be the first to evangelize. She did not need a theological education nor a course in evangelism. She plainly stated, "I have seen the Lord."

Brothers and sisters, God calls us to share the good news of our risen Savior to those around us. Like Mary, we do not need formal training to share the gospel. All we have to do is share our relationship with Christ with others. Have you seen the Lord lately? Then share it. Have you heard from the Lord recently? Then share it. Is the Holy Spirit transforming you? Share it!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. —Romans 1:16
