God First

Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. - Malachi 3:8

Malachi continues to address the evidence of the people of God not genuinely following Him by address the issue of tithe. God equates not offering the first fruits to robbing Him. Tithe generally represents one faith in God. When we lack faith in Him, we tend to hold on to our possession and trust our resources. Tithing is about placing God first.

Are you robbing God? Let us return to Him by renewing our relationship with Him through repentance. Let us also return to God what rightfully belongs to Him with our tithes and offerings.
