Sword of the Spriit

Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. - Ephesians 6:17 (NLT)

We must rely on God's word as the truth and standard against the attack of the enemy. It is the only offensive weapon mentioned in the list of spiritual armor of God. The author of Hebrews wrote,

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

The Well Church, let us rely on God's word when we face uncertainty and doubt. The enemy of our soul is constantly feeding us lies and distrust. God's word is reliable and dependable.

For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. - Psalm 33:4
