Delight

"but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night." - Psalm 1:2

What do you look forward to first thing in the morning? Is it a cup of coffee, or perhaps checking the news on your cell phone? We tend to jump towards what gives us pleasure first thing in the morning. Today's verse instructs us that those who are blessed delight in God's instructions. They look forward to reading and hearing God's word. For believers, we ought to have the same attitude towards God's law.

The Well Church, let us delight in God's word by reading, studying, and meditating on God's word.
Let us pray,

"Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law." - Psalm 119:18
