Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, "Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us." - Psalm 2:1-3

Psalm 2 begins with the psalmist revealing the fallen condition of our hearts. From Genesis 3, the world has been plotting against God and His ways by attempting to normalize sin. They cry,

"Let us break their chains and free ourselves from slavery to God." - Psalm 2:3 (NLT)

The Well Church, what separates us from the world is our faith in Christ. Instead of breaking free from God, we are yoked to Christ. Let us place our trust in Him today.

"Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light." - Matthew 11:29-30
