Where is God leading you today?

You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent before him.' - John 3:28

Do you know your mission in life? John the Baptist knew his calling and made sure that he fulfilled his mission from God. He is the fulfillment of Malachi 3:1, which states,

"Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the LORD of hosts."

D. A. Carson comments, "Both John and Jesus were given their roles by heaven (v. 27), and John was entirely content with his." John the Baptist was satisfied with his calling. David sings,

"You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." - Psalm 16:11

Dear Church, the path of life set by God leads to fullness of joy in God's presence. Let us be content with his call in our lives and follow Him wholeheartedly.
