Good News

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. - John 3:36

The Apostle John concludes one of the most important chapters in the Bible with today's verse. He makes it clear that unless a person believes in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, one will remain under God's condemnation. As the prophet Joel wrote,

"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." - Joel 2:32

The Apostle Paul quotes this in Romans 10:13 to share the good news to Jews and Gentiles. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is for all.

Dear Church, as Christ commands in Mark 16:15, let us

"go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." Who can you share the good news with today?
