God's Love

For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. - John 3:34-35

In today's text, we see that the Father sent his Son and gave him the Spirit without limit. Further, the Father has given Jesus all authority. The permanent presence of the Spirit and supreme authority point to the fact that he is God. What's more, the Father loves the Son.

As we reflect on today's verses, let us remember the sacrifice God made by sending his Son, whom he loves, to die on the cross. How should you and I respond to God's love? Our only response, The Well Chruch, is worship. Let us worship him today and remind everyone around us about his love.

For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. - Psalm 100:5
