Go and do!

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." Having said these things, he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which means Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing. - John 9:5-7

In today's remarkable text, Jesus heals the man who was born blind. The event was unique because the healing did not occur instantly, and it required the man to faithfully obey Jesus' command to "go," and "wash." Jesus placing mud on the man's eye was not enough.

We often miss out on experiencing God's power in our lives because we do not obey God and expect God to show up in our lives instantly.

Dear Church, let us experience God's power by trusting and obeying Him. As the blind man went and washed, let us go and do! So many have missed out in experienced Jesus by not wholly accepting and obeying His instructions. Faith requires action. Where is God asking you to go and do?
