Where is Jesus?

They said to him, "Where is he?" He said, "I do not know." - John 9:12

After having a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, the blind man did not know where Jesus was. Having never seen him, he did not know what Jesus looked like and was probably overwhelmed by seeing for the first time. We often act like the blind man after an encounter with Jesus. We focus on our transformation and thus forget to thank God for what he is doing in our lives.

As you spend time with God today, let me encourage you to jot down how God is changing your life and then praise Him.

With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day: "Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. "Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth. Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 12:3-6
