God's Word

The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him and went on his way. - John 4:50b

Do you believe in the Word of God as if your life depends on it? In a hopeless situation, the official from Capernaum trusted in Jesus, and his words that his child would live, and his thought and actions reflected his faith. In Matthew 4, we see that Jesus rebukes the devil and declares,

"It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" - Matthew 4:4b

Brothers and sisters of The Well Church, we have the assurance we need from God's Word in our world of uncertainty. Our lives should manifest our faith in Christ as we stand firmly in His Word and teaching. As children of God, let us place our hope in Christ and His Word alone. What area of your life must you yield to Jesus? Let us boldly surrender to Christ today.
