God's Way
Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! - Romans 11:33 (NLT)
Greetings from Austin, Texas! Thank you, The Well Church, for generously releasing me to serve as a mentor to emerging leaders regularly. As I was looking out the airplane window on my way here, I was reminded of how small and finite we are as God's creatures. Today's verse reminds us that God is infinite. One scholar states, "The plan of God for the salvation of all people demonstrates God's infinite knowledge and His ability to use it wisely."
Dear Church, during the Lenten season, let us continue to focus our attention on our Almighty God. As the Apostle Paul writes to the believers in Colossae,
"For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face, that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." - Colossians 2:1-3
Let us trust in Christ alone and his wisdom, knowledge, and leading no matter what we are going through.
For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; - Proverbs 2:6
