The Third Day

And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.

I don't know about you, but this week feels like a slow week. It is only Thursday, but it feels like we met for worship a month ago. I am so looking forward to meeting with you this coming weekend.

Today's verse is a reminder of the importance of Christ's resurrection. As we recited on Sunday in the Apostles Creed, "The third day he rose again from the dead."

Dear Church, as we continue to live out our lives for God, let us remember Christ's resurrection power upon us and know that our labor in Christ is not in vain.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
