Blessings
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
- Romans 8:32All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future – all are yours, and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.
- 1 Corinthians 3:21b-23
Today's texts remind us that God, who did not spare his only Son for our salvation, will give us all that is necessary to live a godly life, and he gives us all things. Although we lack nothing in Christ, we live seeking worldly significance, working and trying harder in life. Instead, Christ calls us to seek his kingdom first.
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.
- Luke 12:31 (NLT)
The Well Church, as we heard this Sunday, God is pouring out his Spirit upon his people. Let us openly receive his blessings and live spiritually rich lives.
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
- 2 Corinthians 8:9
