Five Solas

As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever." - John 6:57-58

In today's text, Jesus says that as he lives because of the Father, the one who feeds on him will live because of him. For believers, eternal life was always mediated through Jesus Christ.

As we meditate on Jesus' words, let us remember the summary of the five solas:

Salvation is 
by grace alone
through faith alone
in Christ alone
according to Scripture alone
for God's glory alone.

The Well Church, may you continue to grow in Christ as you feed on him. 

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. - 2 Peter 3:18
