Return to Him

Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. - Isaiah 55:6-7

It is not too late, but time is running out!

Isaiah urges us to call on God while He is near and before it is too late. There is a sense of urgency in his writing. Unconfessed sin drifts us further apart from God, and repentance becomes more difficult the longer we wait.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:9

Dear Church, let us return to Him by repentance. What sins are holding you back? Confess them immediately and return to our faithful Father.

Seek God now, while you can, before it is too late.
