Love is patient

[21] So he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sin. Where I am going, you cannot come." - John 8:21

Our God is incredibly patient. Jesus demonstrates his patience by repeating his message. After telling them that He will be going away in John 7:33-34, He tells the Jews that he will go away again. Not angrily, but patiently. He speaks, however, the truth. He states,

"you will die in you sin." - John 8:21b

Jesus is speaking about the sin of unbelief. Whoever does not believe in Jesus and follow Him as the light of the world will perish and die in their sin. It is not the sin of ignorance but rejection.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12

Brother and sisters in Christ, let us not miss the vital message that Christ repeats to all. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone! Let us reaffirm our faith in Christ and our love for Him today.
