Your Song

The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. Psalm 118:14

Today's verse reminds us that we can rely on God's strength and salvation in times of trouble. In life, we will undoubtedly face challenges and difficult times, and it can be tempting to rely on our strength and abilities to overcome these struggles. But when we turn to the LORD, we find that His strength is much greater than our own, and He can give us the courage and perseverance we need to face any obstacle. Not only is the LORD our strength, but he is also our song -- a victory song. Our only response to Him is praise and worship.

And ultimately, the Psalmist states that the LORD has become our salvation. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross has saved all believers from sins and given them eternal life. When we put our faith in Him, we can have confidence in our hope in Christ.

Dear Church, let us remember today's text as we face life's challenges. Let us turn to the LORD for strength and sing His praises in all circumstances. And let us not forget the salvation He has given us through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
