What’s holding you back?

When Jesus had said these things, he departed and hid himself from them. John 12:36b

After Jesus warned them to believe in Him while there was still time left, he departed and hid himself from them. Today's verse reminds us of the urgency of making a decision to follow Christ.

Jesus warned the people to believe in him while they still had time, and this message is just as relevant for us today. We must not delay or procrastinate whether to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior or follow Him as His disciples.

So, what is holding you back? What is preventing you from fully surrendering your life to Christ? Is it fear, doubt, or uncertainty? Whatever it may be, let us lay it all down at the feet of Jesus and trust in Him completely.

Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 16:24-25

Dear Church, let us take up our cross and follow Jesus, knowing there is no greater reward than eternal life with Him. Let us not wait until it's too late, but make the decision today to believe in Him and live a life that honors Him.
