God is in Control
The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all. Psalm 103:19
As I mentioned in my sermon today, Charles Stanley's last message came from Psalm 103:19. The verse reminds us of God's sovereignty and power over everything. As we reflect on this truth, we can be encouraged and find peace knowing that God controls everything.
When we look at current events, it can be easy to be overwhelmed by the chaos and turmoil. The war in Ukraine continues, rampant gun violence is an ordinary reality, the global economy is fragile, and injustices are happening everywhere. But despite all of this, we can take comfort in knowing that God's kingdom rules over all, He is in control, and nothing can happen without His permission.
As we meditate on this truth, we can find the strength and courage to face life's challenges. We can trust in God's plan for our lives, knowing He is working all things together for His good. We can rest in His love and care, knowing He is always with us, even amid life's challenges.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Dear Church, remember that the Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. May this truth bring us comfort, peace, and confidence amid any trial or difficulty we may face.
