Why Return?

I will be like the dew to Israel; he shall blossom like the lily; he shall take root like the trees of Lebanon; —Hosea 14:5

Today’s text shows what follows when we return to God. He promises His favor illustrated has dew. Dew was one of the sources of water for Israel, which represents life.

The Well Church, it is time for us to return to Lord. As I mentioned yesterday, we return to God through confession and repentance. Let us return to God and embrace His favor.

Surely, LORD, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. —Psalm 5:12
