Knowing God

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
—Ephesians 2:13

As we looked at this text last Sunday, the two classifications of people, Jews, or Greeks, have been united as one in Christ. In Christ, the church of God is one. And through the blood of Jesus, the church has access to God.

The Well Church, Hebrews 8:10-11 reminds us that we are God’s people. As God’s people, not only do we have full access to God but we also “shall know Him.” Let us approach Him with confidence today.

For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
–Hebrews 8:10–11
