God's Love (2-minute Devotional)

The LORD has an indictment against Judah and will punish Jacob according to his ways; he will repay him according to his deeds. —Hosea 12:2

Let’s face it, we are responsible for our actions. In the book of Hosea, we see that Judah and Israel’s idolatry and unfaithfulness have led them to their exile. Their economic success nor Baal could save them from God’s judgment. We are in the same boat as Israel. We will be held accountable for our actions on the Day of Judgment.

The Well Church, here is the good news: “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Christ took our punishment that we deserve so that we can have eternal life. Let us look to Jesus today, know that He loves us.
