Blame shifting
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. —James 1:13
It is easy to blame others for your actions. This took place in Genesis 3 when Adam blamed Eve and God for his disobedience.
The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” —Genesis 3:12

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. —1 John 1:9
