Follow Him Fully

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, —2 Timothy 3:12

Let’s face it; following Christ is not easy. We face temptations every day to abandon our faith and follow our passions and desires. Additionally, Paul reminds us that the world will persecute us when we desire to live for Christ. So, is it worth following Christ? The answer is YES! It is proof that Christ has chosen you. Jesus said,

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:18-19).

The Well Church, do not be discouraged as you follow Christ. Richard D. Phillips said,

Jesus presents a clear challenge to this world and its system. His meekness offends its pride; his holiness exposes our sin. Especially, the cross of Christ offends the world.

May the Lord give you the strength to follow Him fully. May you experience His power and presence today.
