My beloved
Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. —James 1:16
James refers to the church as his beloved brothers (and sisters). The basis of his warning and instructing the church is love. Love towards God and one another are the greatest commandments (Matthew 22:36-40).
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
The Well Church, let us reaffirm our love toward God and our church. I have two questions for you.
