God story

Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. --James 1:18

James calls the church to be the firstfruits of God’s creatures. The implication to his command is that we need to be ambassadors for Christ. In other words, we must evangelize the Good News of Jesus Christ to those around us.
