Anger Management

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; —James 1:19

Happy Monday! In today’s text, James draws our attention to an essential aspect of our relationships with one another: anger. Whether we avoid one another or act passive-aggressively, not dealing with our anger toward one another is cancer to our community. So, how should we deal with our anger?

The Well Church, anger exposes fear, lack of trust in God, and lack of love toward others. How can we overcome our anger? It begins with our faith in God. Let us invest in our relationship with God. Start by reading the Bible and praying. We must also invest in our relationships in our community by actively listening and loving one another.
