Our Vision

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, —Ephesians 4:13

Paul's vision for the church is for the saints to grow spiritually and mature in Christ. We should aim to come to the completion of the process begun in our salvation. God called us to be conformed to the image of Christ -- morally, spiritually, in our relationship with our neighbors, and our relationship with our Heavenly Father. As Paul wrote in Romans,

"For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." — Romans 8:29

As we begin our work week, brothers and sisters, let us reflect on the question, What area of my life do I need to surrender to be more like Jesus? Let us offer it to God today. May the Holy Spirit continue to transform you and our church.
