Do you know Him?

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, 
Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." - John 1:45

How much training do we need to share the gospel? When I speak to Christians, many feel that they are not ready to talk and share the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ with others. In the opening chapter of John, we see a few examples of followers of Jesus pointing others to Him immediately after meeting Jesus. In today's text, Philip finds Nathanael to share the good news with him.

The Well Church, Jesus calls all of us to share the good news with others. He says,

"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." - Mark 16:15b

Are you ready to share the gospel? Our readiness comes from our relationship with Jesus Christ through reading the Word and prayer. To share Christ, we must know Him first. What is one thing you can do today to grow closer to Him? I encourage you to spend some time with Jesus today.
